It is essential that every effort is made to ensure that the property is presented in its best condition. The property needs to be professionally cleaned to include carpets and curtains prior to letting and we can advise of suitable companies for these tasks. It is important that, if relevant, gardens are pruned and lawns cut prior to the start of the tenancy as it is usual for the tenant to take over the cost of maintaining the gardens after the start of the tenancy. Minimal gardening equipment should be left so that the tenant can carry out these duties. For the larger properties it is advisable to including gardening services within the rental.

The garage and loft should also be cleared as necessary.
